The Kamp Kastle recreation camp curriculum incorporates activities and entertainment on a flexible hourly basis. Our goal is to accomodate the schedules of today's busy parents and children who find it hard to enjoy much needed and deserved "time out", by fulfilling an unmet need that is based on safety, convenience and affordability. Parents can now coordinate their 'time out" for business or leisure with their children's fun"time out" at Kamp Kastle! let the kids run off their energy while you regain yours!
POLICIES
REGISTRATION
Kidz Kastle™ accepts children, 3 years old thru 10 years of age. Children must be fully potty trained. We must have a completed registration form and parent policy and release form on file for all children.
Members: Registration Fee Waived
Non Members: $35.00 Annual Registration Fee
PAYMENT
Payment for services will be due at the time of checkout. There is a one hour minimum charge for visits lasting less than one hour. After the initial hour, rates will be calculated in 15-minute increments. Kidz Kastle™ accepts Debit, MasterCard and Visa Cards. Gift Cards are available.
MAXIMUM CHILD CAPACITY
No more than 40 children will be accepted at any one time (per hour). Kidz Kastle reaserves the right to adjust this capacity at any time. In order for all members to have ample opportunity to utilize and enjoy Kamp Kastles services, visits are limited Monday thru Thursday to a 3 hour maximum and Friday thru Sunday to a maximum of 4 hours.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT POLICY
Only parents or legal guardians will be allowed to check children in and out of Kidz Kastle™. Parents must show photo I.D. upon arrival and pick-up. Children will be checked into our computer system at the time of arrival and departure. Authorized persons will be able to check children in and out if prior arrangements are made with Kidz Kastle™. A password will be required for obtaining information over the phone. Staff is not allowed to release a child to a parent or any authorized person who is intoxicated or in any other way impaired. An alternative driver will have to be present. If a parent/guardian does not return after being phoned for 30 minutes, our child abandonment policy will be enforced, which will entail attempting to contact all persons on the child's registration form that have been authorized to pick-up the child(ren), and if such persons are not immediately available, the appropriate law enforcement agency will be contacted. Please be sure to update emergency contact phone numbers with our staff. In the event of a medical emergency, we will call the parent and phone 911 immediately.
ILL CHILDREN
Kidz Kastle™ cannot accept children who are ill. Children must be fever free and symptom free for at least 24 hours before visiting Kidz Kastle™. Staff cannot administer any medication. If your child is dropped off at Kidz Kastle™ and is ill, we will call you to come pick him or her up.
DISCIPLINE AND GUIDANCE
If and when necessary, discipline by Kidz Kastle™ staff should ONLY involve reminding children of behavior expectations, redirection or if necessary a brief supervised separation from the group. Absolutely no corporal punishment, physical or verbal abuse is allowed by Kidz Kastle™ staff. Each child should be respectful of each other and the Kidz Kastle™ staff. Kidz Kastle™ shall not admit any child whose needs our staff cannot meet or whose behavior is dangerous or inappropriate to other children. Behavior, such as biting, hitting or screaming, shall not be permitted nor tolerated and are grounds for dismissal from Kidz Kastle™. Kidz Kastle™ does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin or special need.
PERSONAL ITEMS
Kidz Kastle™ is not responsible for personal items including, but not limited to clothing, shoes, jewelry and toys. Items left at the facility will be stored in a lost and found box and donated to charity after 30 days.
